Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026

Eminder is made by Nxt Imagine Labs. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you control.

The short version

What stays on your iPhone

Notes, drawings, tasks, reminders, alarms, your schedule, folders, decks, study progress, recordings, and the photos and files you add are saved on your iPhone with iOS data protection. We don't have a copy.

Your account

You can use the basics without an account. To get Pro or publish decks, you sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.

We receive an account ID, your email address (or an Apple relay address if you chose Hide My Email) and how you signed in. With it, we keep a small account record: first and last seen dates, app version, your plan, and your country as reported by our network provider. We use it to run the service, apply limits and stop abuse.

AI features (Pro)

When you use a Pro AI feature, the material you picked for it is sent over HTTPS to our server, which runs on Cloudflare, and then to an AI provider to make the result:

We don't keep your source material. To run the service, our server stores:

AI is never used on the free plan.

Community

Payments

Eminder Pro is sold on the web through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. We keep your subscription status with your account: a Stripe customer reference, your plan, its status and its end or renewal date. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what Stripe keeps.

Error reports and feedback

If Eminder hits an error or crashes, it sends a technical report to our server: the error type and code, where in the app it happened, the app version, the iOS version and the device model, linked to your account ID. Crash details come from Apple's MetricKit. Reports never include your notes or other content. They are deleted 90 days after the error was last seen.

If you send feedback in the app, we store your message, its category, your username and email, the app version and your device model, for up to one year, so we can reply and fix things.

Who we work with

We use a few service providers to run Eminder. They process data only to provide their service to us.

The News tab loads public articles directly from the news sites you read. We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We disclose data only if the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.

No ads, no tracking

Eminder has no ads, no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics. We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites. This website uses no cookies and no analytics.

Deleting your account

Open Settings in Eminder and tap Delete Account at the bottom. This:

Decks you published stay in Community, shown as "Community Member". Delete them first if you want them gone, or email us. Anonymous error reports expire on the schedule above. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires. Email us to remove anything else.

Children

Eminder is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA give you these rights and more. Email us and we will answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. For a big change, we will also tell you in the app.
